Called simply 'Takes', the album is a stunning and evocative collection of Adem's interpretations of tracks that were released in the decade from 1991 - 2001, music that inspired and informed Adem while he was growing up. With 12 tracks ranging from covers of Bjork, Smashing Pumpkins and Yo Le Tengo through to Tortoise and Aphex Twin, 'Takes'; Takes'; recorded at The Pool and Exchange studios, sees Adem step up from home-based to studio recording and sees him producing and playing every instrument himself.

Crisis - Consequences
Consequences is charity single made for "Crisis" campaign and features the mighty Paul Weller, Beth Ditto, The Enemy, Graham Coxon, New Young Pony Club and Ed Harcourt, among others. The track is built around the parlour game 'consequences', where people write a story or draw a figure without seeing each other's input, so each part of the song -- drums, bass, guitar, vocals, etc -- was recorded by artists unaware of what had been laid down before
